If you’ve ever been the parent of a mischievous toddler, then you are all too familiar with the fact that no living area is off limits when it comes to an adventure of exploring. A dad recently found his inquisitive twin daughters in the pantry, one of them holding a family-sized bag of marshmallows! Fortunately for these twins, their dad was admiringly encouraging when it came to them checking out the tasty treat.
The twins initially set out to see what interesting treasures the kitchen cabinets had in store, but they were quickly intrigued by the fluffy, white appearance of a big bag of marshmallows. When their father caught them eyeing the bag, instead of reprimanding them, he encouraged them to try to get the package opened themselves.
Struggling to find out how to maneuver the clip sealing it together, one of the twins handed it to their dad for some help. After their dad was able to open the bag for them, that’s when their adventure truly started!
Once the delicious contents of the bag were accessible, the twin’s dad put some marshmallows on a plate for them to try. He of course only put a couple of handfuls on the dish in order to avoid it becoming a choking hazard. Without hesitation, the twins each started eating the fluffy snack, and they were certainly not disappointed!
Since marshmallows are mainly gelatin-based, they provide a gentle texture that is highly conforming to the gums of toddlers who are growing new teeth. These twins couldn’t have possibly picked a better snack at this stage in their lives! As their plate became empty, you can see one toddler signaling for more in American Sign Language.
