Everyone has moments growing up that absolutely transfix them.
They become spellbound by what they’re witnessing, even if they’re too young to understand what such a word means. If they’re old enough, these experiences can become permanent memories that they always look back up and smile. For one youngster, this came in the form of hearing a jazz band. His reaction is absolutely priceless and something that even the most hardened of souls will be able to cherish.
On vacation in New Orleans (the unquestionable birthplace of jazz), one-year-old Boone Anthony and his mother, Stefanie from Pensacola, Florida, heard a festive jazz band playing in Jackson Square. Not content with just being an audience member, Boone decided he wanted to get in on the action.
It didn’t matter that he didn’t have any musical training or even an instrument on his person. Boone followed the examples of the trumpeters and performed with his own makeshift trumpet. The performers absolutely loved it as did nearby spectators. He became the star of the whole show without playing so much as a single note. Talk about beginner’s luck.
This is such a heartwarming story that reminds us of just how much joy can appear when we least expect it. Even if Boone is too young to remember this when he gets older, the video recording will help to show just how much he cheered people up.
